The National Park Service is actively considering new rules and regulations that may dramatically impact your ability to take a Grand Canyon river trip in the future.

Some of the proposals under consideration could reduce public visitation on the Colorado River within the park by as much as sixty or seventy percent. Others would sharply limit the kinds of trips currently available.

Citizen involvement is critical to this process. It’s up to you to make sure the public’s voice is heard. To help, we offer a free Grand Canyon news update service.
